The 2025 Utility Week Awards: Celebrating Innovation and Excellence
Utilities have an increasingly high-profile role in delivering net zero, protecting the environment and supporting customers. There is now a clear expectation that these providers of lifeline services go beyond their regulatory requirements in all of these areas. Utilities know they have a duty to demonstrate efficiency, innovation, ambition and a genuine commitment to their customers and their communities. These are long-term responsibilities and require energy and water companies to develop a diverse and inclusive workforce that is fit for future challenges.
The Utility Week Awards are a celebration of achievement across all of these areas – highlighting the hard work, dedication and creativity at the heart of the industry. The awards invite best-in-class examples of what a public service ethos means in 2025, from maximizing the opportunities of data and digitalisation to promoting diversity, putting social and environmental goals at the heart of decision-making and developing new ways of supporting customers and decarbonising the UK.
Across the country, individuals and teams at utilities companies are showing dedication and initiative to keep the country connected and build a better future. We look forward to recognising these successes.
